Hi, I’m Bernie.

My interest in cars began with trips to the Chicago Auto Show with my dad. By 14, I was doing oil changes, intake gaskets and electrical diagnostics. Cars have been part of my life ever since.

Crash N Bern is where I share the builds, problem-solving and lessons that come from doing the work in the garage. I like taking an idea that does not exist off the shelf and figuring out how to make it work.

That includes builds like my 2018 AWD Dodge Charger Ute and the 1977 Dodge D-100 Warlock. I document the process so other enthusiasts can see what went into the build, what changed along the way and what I learned from it.
